Carlton Heights Guesthouse is situated at the foot of Carlton Heights mountain, which is literally on the border between the Northern- and Eastern Cape Provinces. The landscape is beautiful mountainous terrain with grassy Karoo veld, typical of the Eastern Upper Karoo region. The guesthouse sits between the towns of Middelburg (25 km to the south) and Colesberg (70 km to the north) and is conveniently situated on the national N9 and N10 highway towards the coast. Our entrance gate is on the N9, followed by a stretch of 1.5 km car-friendly gravel road.
